New call queuing system now live at YHP
We know that during peak times, people spend too long waiting to speak to us on the phone.; this can be particularly frustrating if you are just trying to get on with other tasks in your day.
In response to this, we are delighted to announce the launch of our new call queuing system which allows you to reserve your place in the call queue, hang up, and our contact centre will call you back when your place in the queue reaches the front.
When does the new system start?
Tuesday 14th May
How does it work?
Call your practice on the usual telephone number.
Listen to the standard recorded message.
Once you have listened to the standard recorded message and joined the call queue, you will be given the option to reserve your place in the queue - follow the instructions.
Your position in the queue has now been reserved.
When your position reaches the front of the call queue, the system will automatically call you back and connect you with a member of our Contact Centre team.
NB - The call back option will initially only be available between 08:00am and 3:00pm
What happens if I don’t answer the call?
Don’t panic! We will try you again 1 more time. If you are still unable to answer the call, you will need to call us back.
