Improved Call Triage – Starting Wednesday 15th October
To help us respond more efficiently to patient needs, we are introducing a better way to triage incoming telephone calls using a simple call menu system. This will help us to improve how calls are directed and answered based on urgency and type.
From 8:00am to 11:00am, we will prioritise calls for new medical conditions and infections.
From 11:00am onwards, patients can call for other types of routine queries such as medication, test results, follow-on fit notes, and more.
We would ask any patients that are able to go online and submit their request via SystmConnect, to do so – this will free up space on our telephone lines for people who can only use the phone to contact us.
Remember – you do not need an account to use SystmConnect; requests for help with new health problems, can be submitted from 07:00am Monday – Friday.
