We are experiencing a problem with our server this morning and we do not currently have access to our computers or telephones at Whiteheath Medical Centre or Mace Street Clinic.
IT support is working to fix this as quickly as they can but until the computer probem is fixed we are unable to see any patients – if you are calling us about a routine issue you may wish to wait until later in the day or contact us next week.
However, if you feel that you need medical advice that cannot wait please consider using one of the following options:
Self Care Advice
If you are suffering from a cough, cold or flu-like symptoms, click here for advice on what you should do and when you should seek further advice.
For everything else, visit our Self help section.
Your local Pharmacist will be able to assist you with a number of minor illnesses; they stock a wide range of over the counter medicine to help you to manage your symptoms.
111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It is fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained advisor supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.
If you have an appointment booked for this morning…
We are in the process of phoning patients and cancelling these appointments so please do not travel to either Whiteheath or Mace Street.
If you have an appointment booked for this afternoon…
We are hoping that the issue will be resolved in time for the afternoon clinics to go ahead however we will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
We would like to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
