The Covid-19 pandemic has been and continues to be, a challenging time for everyone. We have had to make tough decisions about how we operate our service, often at short notice, that have resulted in big changes for our patients and team.
One positive is that we have been able to really think about how our service could operate in future, taking into account what our patients tell us about their experiences; that a much better experience is needed on our phone lines along with ability to book in advance is clear. In short we are making some changes to our appointment model – keep an eye out for more information to follow shortly.
We also recognise the need to get better at collecting your feedback – to do this we are launching a formal patient survey that will run twice a year and ask questions about the experiences that you have had with us in the previous six months.
The survey itself is multiple choice, will take between 5-10 minutes to complete and the answers are not linked to any individual patient in any way.
Each time the survey is open you can take part by:
- Responding to a direct invitation – during each survey period we will be inviting 2500 patients, chosen at random, to take part directly by sending them a text message or a paper survey to complete.
- Accessing the survey on our website
- Following a link sent to you by a member of our team
Each survey period will run for approximately six weeks, at the end of which we will review and publish the results on our website and in the practice buildings, along with our plan as to what we are actually going to do about what you have told us.
Let’s work together to make our Practice better.
