At the end of last week we were experiencing some unplanned absence in our clinical team which has unfortunately continued into this week; we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Our Workforce Planning Team are working flat out to try and find some additional cover but it is likely that the availability of appointments will be impacted throughout the week.
As it stands this morning:
- Mace Street Clinic will be without a GP this afternoon and tomorrow (Tuesday 17th December) afternoon
- Whiteheath Medical Centre is down to one GP all day today and Thursday 19th December
- Oakham Survery will be short of appointments on Wednesday 18th December
- Caters Green Medical Centre and Regis Medical Centre will be short of appointments on Friday 20th December
We will bring you further updates as soon as more information becomes available.
If you need to seek medical advice this week you may wish to consider using one of the following options:
111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It is fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained advisor supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.
