We have been made aware of a supply issue with the medication, Ranitidine.

There is currently a UK-wide shortage with no date yet announced for when the situation will change.

From our records we have identified approximately 500 people across Your Health Partnership who are currently taking Ranitidine as part of their regular medication – this has now stopped being issued automatically as part of the repeat prescription process.

If you still need to take Rantidine there are alternative medicines available and you can contact your local pharmacist or chat to one of our pharmacists in the Clinical Support Team for more advice.

We will bring you further information as soon as it becomes available.

Thank you
